Four Tips On Planning Your Branson Vacation!
Branson is an incredible place! Families and friends unite in Branson from all over the world because of our active music scene, plenty of outdoor adventures, unique shopping and great rides and attractions. The local community is incredibly grateful to every person that includes the Ozark Mountain area in their vacation plans. With the increase in the busyness of life, vacation can be put on the back burner these days. Let’s make the most of your vacation time while visiting Branson, Missouri!
While vacationing in Branson, choose to stay at Branson Vacation Retreats. The perks of using a luxury location that includes all the comforts and conveniences of home can’t be understated. Being able to prepare breakfast at home, instead of eating out will allow you to jump start the day without waiting for a table! There’s also enough room for everyone to have their own space, which comes in handy when it comes to getting ready in the morning. Imagine trying to get everyone ready in one shared bathroom, like what you’d see in a hotel. Book direct for the best rate on your stay at Branson Vacation Retreats!
Secondly, Silver Dollar City is a must-do while visiting the Branson area! Purchase your tickets before you show up. This will save you from having to wait in line at the ticket booth, which can be a little lengthy at times. Also, download their FREE app for up to date information on show schedules, a map of the park, and current wait times on SDC’s favorite rides! Tell the kids to connect their devices to the park’s free WiFi so that everyone is reachable while in the park. Silver Dollar City is a very popular attraction and can be packed out. However, if you choose to visit during a weekday, Silver Dollar City is a little less busy. Stop at a Country Mart grocery store and purchase your tickets for a Thursday visit for a cheaper rate.
Thirdly, the 76 Strip. Every local knows to avoid driving down The Strip at all costs. The City of Branson has created a color coded “back roads” system that will allow you to access anything on The Strip with minimal drive time on said road. Review the layouts of the Branson area roads to whip in and out of traffic like a local.
And show tickets… Getting show tickets in Branson shouldn’t be complicated, but turns out…it kind of is. Before you even hit Taney County, you’ll see signs and buildings for Branson Welcome Centers. Here’s how this ends up working: you walk in and they tell you about how inexpensive their ticket prices are compared to buying direct from the theaters. Yes! They can get you some great rates on tickets, but you have take time out of YOUR VACATION to attend a sales pitch for a time share. So, you’re vacationing from meetings at work, only to attend another meeting while on vacation. Skip this all together. You have two options: Option 1. Contact the theater yourself. This is the best way for you to see the show that you want to see without the shenanigans. Be sure to ask about discounts, such as for veterans, AARP members, AAA members, and more. The theater district really wants to work with you to fill their seats. Option 2: Branson 2 for 1 Ticket Sales is a no bull ticket agency that isn’t trying to upsell you. While they can connect you with discounted tickets and they have a great selection of available shows, they aren’t able to hook you up on ALL the Branson shows.
Use these tips to by-pass some of the blank spaces in your vacation planning. Branson is an AWESOME place to visit! The natural beauty of the area is second to none and the city’s energy is welcoming and friendly! We can’t wait to see you on your next trip!
